Backup Data File
Top  Previous  Next

Use the Backup Data File screen to back up your current data file. This is very important and should be done every time you use the program. You can back up to your hard drive, network drive or any removable media such as floppy or zip disks. If the file does not fit in one floppy disk it will span multiple disks and prompt you to enter a new disk when required. The data file will be compressed using the latest compression technology.

First click the folderbrowsebutton button to select a location to back up the file to. There will be a default name entered for you consisting of the file name and the current date and time. You can change this to what ever you want, but it is a good idea to have the date and time so you can easily find the most recent back up. Then click the Backup button.

To restore a data file see the Restore Data File
topic.
