If you have an internet connection and email software such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, you can email reports directly from Quick Estimator™ 2005. Estimates, Customer Letters and Photo Gallery have an Email option available when you click the Print button. These are the most likely reports you would need to email. This requires that you have installed the PDFMailer software and have select it in the Setup / Defaults section.

Clicking Print and selecting Email on the Estimate Print Options screen, Photo Gallery Print Options screen or the Customer Letters screen will launch your email software with the report attached as a PDF file ready for you to fill in the required information and send.
PDFMailer also allows you to save the PDF file to your hard drive so depending on how it is setup you may see the following screen.
Check the Email box to email the report and or check the Save box to save a copy of the PDF to your hard drive. You can enter a name for the file. When you check the Email box and click the OK button, your default email program will open with the PDF file attached ready for you to enter an email address and send it.
Your default email program will open with the PDF file attached. Simply enter the persons email address or look it up in your address book, enter a subject, add any notes you want and hit Send.
The above screen may look different on your computer but these instructions will still apply.
You can still email reports that do not have a Email option. In order to do this you will need a PDF Printer driver. If you have installed the PDFMailer program then you have a PDF printer driver. To email a report, you simply click the Print button and select Print. When the printer dialog box is displayed, select PDFMailer from the Name list and click OK.
