If you click the View / Edit Tax List button on the Tax Setup screen, the screen shown below will open so you can edit the list of taxes or add new ones. These rates will be used to automatically calculate the tax on each item that is added to an estimate.

You enter new items on the last line with the star button next to it. If you list is long you may have to scroll down to see this line. Enter the name of the tax and the percentage rate. When entering the tax rate, enter it as follows: To enter a tax rate of 7% just type 0.07 and it will be converted to 7.00%.

To delete an item click the xbutton button next to the item you want to delete.

If you make any changes to existing taxes you will need to click the Update All Projects button on the Setup / Defaults screen.

You can also edit the tax list from the Other Lists screen.
