submit a support ticket or you can
email support@quickestimator.com.
You can also use the
Support Help Desk to submit
questions, comments or suggestions. Once you open a support ticket either
online or via email, all replies and correspondence relating to the ticket
will be tracked. You will be able to view the full list of replies online.
You can open multiple tickets and track them all online. When replying to a
ticket via email, remember to leave the subject as is, do not edit it. That
way your reply will be attached to the correct ticket when we receive it,
thus maintaining a complete history for both parties.

- Added the ability to add custom
payment terms to an estimate.
- Added a new drop-down list to the
Assembly screen which lets you set a default task for each assembly.
- Added a drop-down list on the Add
Assembly screen which is used to add assemblies to estimates,
templates etc. This drop-down list lets you choose the task for the
assembly. If you have set a default task for an assembly, then this
default will be entered in this field for you when you select an
assembly. This task will be then applied to all items that make up
the assembly.
- Fixed a problem on one of the
Change Order reports where the title of the Change Order # field
showed up as ERROR#.
- Added project notes to all project
reports.
- Fixed a problem in the project
Diary where if you entered man-hours as decimal, it was being
rounded up when it was transferred to Job tracking.
- Fixed a problem in the Daily Diary
where if you entered items that were not in the original estimate,
they would not show up on Job Tracking reports.
- Made it so that when you use the
Calculate Days To Complete Job button on the Estimate screen, it
rounds the number of days to 0.25 instead of 1.
- Added a new estimate print layout
to the Estimate print Options screen which is grouped by task and
then by assembly.

- Fixed a problem where under certain
circumstances some suppliers would not be included when printing
purchase orders. This would only happen if you were using
replication.
- Fixed a problem where under certain
circumstances items that had certain suppliers assigned would not be
included on the Job Tracking screen. This would only happen if you
used replication.
- Made it so that items in an
estimate that do not have a supplier selected, will print all
together on a purchase order with the supplier information blank.
- Made it so that if you backspaced
the supplier in the Supplier drop-down list on the estimate screen,
it will revert back to "<NA>". This is to prevent blank entries
which can cause problems with some reports.
- Made some changes to the "Detailed
Blank Daily Time Sheet" report. It now includes the list of
material and a space to enter each days quantity. Also added a notes
area to each section of the report.

- Fixed error on Customer Statement
report where the deposit paid amount was incorrect.
- Changed how the ungrouped estimate
reports are sorted. They are now sorted as they were entered.
- Added the estimate name to built-in
invoices.
- Added the Estimate # to built-in
invoices
- Included the tax in original
estimate price on change orders
- Added new total to change orders
that sums the original estimate amount and the change order amount.
- Added the Estimate Name & # to
Change Orders
- Prevented cost book items from
being deleted from the Quick Edit screen if they are used in an
assembly or an estimate.
- Added a link to assembly edit
screen from an estimate so you can edit the assembly while working
on an estimate.
- Added an option to show payments
made when priming built-in invoices
- Added a button to the estimates
screen that lets you calculate the estimated number of days to
complete the job.
- Added a Job Tracking Analysis By
Category Report.
- Fixed a problem where items in an
estimate that were not in the cost book were not showing up in Job
Tracking.
- Changed the warranty field on
estimates and change orders to allow unlimited amount of text. You
can now use this instead of the Legal Notice feature if you want.
- Moved the close button from the
main menu screen to the menu bar to avoid confusion when closing
other screens.
- Fixed a problem where some Project
Diary items were not printing on Project Diary reports.
- Added a Test Quantity field to the
Assemblies and Super Assemblies screens. You can enter a quantity
and each assembly or super assembly item will be calculated based on
that quantity using the link factor you have set. This helps test
your link factors.
- Added a new estimate layout grouped
by assembly but without assembly unit prices or subtotals.
- Fixed a problem on the Projects
screen where change orders showed up on the list of estimates but
when you doubled-clicked them an unrelated estimate would open. Now
the change order will open.
- Added a new Daily Job Sheet that
summarizes labor items by task.
- Added a new Daily Job sheet that
summarizes labor items by task and also lists materials that are
part of the project.
- Help videos are no longer part of
the program. Instead we have added a link to the demo videos page on
the Quick Estimator web site.
- Added a new field to the bottom of
the Job Tracking Analysis reports that shows the overhead recovered
for the period selected for the report.
- Brought back the Recalculate and
Adjust Price link on the estimate screen that were there in version
3. They are also still available on the Options menu.

- Fixed a problem where some users
were getting an error when copying cost book items to QuickBooks.
- Fixed a problem where the Print
option did not work on the Job Tracking Print Options screen..
- Fixed an error when you clicked the
Delete Image button on the Cost Book screen.
- Changed the default font for
introductions from Sans Serif to Arial. When the Sans Serif font was
used, lines would sometimes get cut of at the bottom of the printed
estimated.
- Changed purchase order reports to
now include items from all five categories.
- Changed the Quick Search feature so
that when it finds customers, projects, estimates, change orders or
cost book items that are archived and you double-click them to open
them , it now tells you they are archived and asks if you want to
restore them from the archive.

- Fixed a problem where some users
were unable to add invoice payments.
- Fixed a problem where no suppliers
where available when printing purchase orders.
- Fixed a problem where if you
exported an estimate from one of our Hardscape Assistant programs
such as EP Henry Hardscape Assistant, the estimate items would be
blank.
- Added the ability to add notes to
supplier quote requests. The notes are saved with the estimate and
are printed on the quote request report.
- Increased the width of the sorting
number column down the left side of estimate items on the Estimate
screen so that it can now handle up to 999 items. Also applies to
change orders and templates.
Minor upgrades and fixes are always free to all existing users. Major
upgrades will have a special upgrade price for existing users.
